Logitech Optical Football Mouse

The Logitech Football Mouse is 2/3 the size of a standard Logitech mouse, which is why kids with little hands love it! The optical sensor provides reliable performance without the hassle of a mouse pad, and its durable construction is totally kid-proof. System requirements: Windows 98 and Mac OS and above. Imported
Customer Review: Works great!
I love this mouse for my son, it’s a smaller size (between a notebook mouse & regular mouse) actually works great for my smaller hands. It *does* work right out of the box, but a 10 yrs old IBM computer BIOS wouldn’t recognize this mouse upon boot up. Odd solution, but I took the old, yucky ball mouse and plugged that into the pc and just leave it tucked away behind the pc. Once the computer boots into Win98, it has no problems recognizing the Logitech mouse.
It’s sturdy and has worked for the past year with a 4 & 7 yr old using it. The optical mouse moves much nicer than a ball mouse does for kids - especially nice for the 4 yr old who tends to make “jumpy” movements. Buttons are easy click. I have found that going to the manufacturer’s site and downloading the latest drivers (…) works much better than automatically installing the driver’s from the enclosed CD. More Info
